Mr. Santosh Bafna was appointed as the new Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board. Mr. Bafna, took over the charge at a simple but gracious function on 24th January 2007 at CTB’s headquarters. Mr. Bafna hails from the famous Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. Basically from the small town of Keshkal, Mr. Bafna has held the senior most position in the Municipal Body of Jagdalpur. He is known for his simplicity and sharp work.
Immediately after taking charge, the new Chairman announced his priorities. He declared to focus on ground work and better execution of the ongoing projects. After the ceremony he also took a meeting of all the officials of the Board and the new Chairman was also appraised of the ongoing and forthcoming projects of the Tourism Board.
Mr. Bafna is indeed a man of action. His catch lines are “Where there is a will, there is a Way” and “Less Talk More Work ”. It is expected that the Tourism Board will reach new heights under the able leadership of Mr. Bafna.
